Your Support....

Without your generous support, Physically Fit 4 Hoops would not be able to sustain our Community Outreach Mission. By making a donation today, you are sowing the seeds of leadership, community activism, respect, and most importantly, you are allowing a child to believe they have a chance when others thought they had no chance at all.  Physically Fit 4 Hoops is a 501c3 organization and all donations are 100% Tax Deductible!

Physically Fit 4 Hoops is honored to host the Second Annual – Trunk or Treat Community Engagement Event on Friday, October 28th, 2016 on the campus of Soul Harvest Ministries.

Our goal with this event is to not only provide a safe venue for local children to participate in Halloween festivities and Trick or Treating.  But, by incorporating area residents, block clubs, community organizations, and area businesses; we seek to have this annual event reflect and represent what community really means – “Togetherness”. We will utilize the Soul Harvest Ministries Campus, which is located at 16111 John R. Street, Highland Park, Michigan 48203, to accommodate substantial participation.

Sadly, times have truly changed. Our kids don’t have the ability to explore their neighborhoods and get to know their communities, especially on a holiday as time honored as Halloween.

The children in our community typically do not stay within their neighborhoods due to various levels of safety concerns. And, it’s because of these concerns that’s parents are left with few options and typically take their children into neighboring cities to Trick or Treat. The safety of our children is always paramount! We had over 600 children and their families attend last year and we are looking forward to a significant increase in participation with this year’s event.

We are also pleased that this event will draw children from the surrounding communities of Detroit, Highland Park, and Hamtramck.

This is a Community Engagement Event and a GREAT Opportunity for your business!

Your participation is critical for the success of this event! We have made available 75 tables for area community groups, residents, small businesses, and public officials to distribute candy, healthy snacks, or organizational/promotional items.
